The implementation took 16 months and they process 2.5 million commission credits per month.  Not many solutions can handle a comparable volume.  

This is a bit contradictory to the article I referenced in the original post, but here are some of the benefits achieved with the "new" solution in 2006: 
- complete 26 consecutive payroll submissions successfully and on time;
- resolve conflicts the same day or week instead of two months later;
- implement incentives and program changes as quickly as needed; and
- acquire real-time insight for sales performance.</description>
